Treasure Hunt

Bryson dropped his cell phone behind a couch cushion and it fell to the bottom of the couch which is covered by a stapled cloth. As we tipped the couch over we could hear some "noise" and wondered what was inside the couch. So, we pulled off the cover and besides retrieving his cell phone we found an odd assortment of goodies:

See if you can find all the treasures: a plastic sword, a pacifier, 2 legos, a plastic doll hat, 8 pens, 6 1/2 pencils, 21 gold rocks, 2 phase ten cards, 2 playing cards, 1 Dirt Rider subscription card, 2 pennies, 2 batteries, an advertising magnet, a Relief Society bookmark, 1 jar lid, a cough drop, a water balloon, a bobby pin, 1 game boy game, an empty lip gloss tube "Whirlin Watermelon", a Christmas card, a Christmas gift tag, AND one yellow marble.

That's hilarious. I am going to open up our couch and see if I can find a new crew cab pickup truck suitable for hauling scouts and gear.

That was a fun I spy game! I'm pretty sure I can claim the whirlin watermelon lipgloss. The most mysterious item is the gold rocks! But now we know where all the pens and pencils went when they kept disappearing from the desk!

whose bink?

Haha, I'm with Leisy! What is a binky doing in your couch? When we cleaned out our couches when we first moved in (the couches were here before we moved in) we found an old t-shirt, a plastic bag from the DI, a gross old sock, and a dishrag. It was the weirdest thing to us, because they weren't even our things!!!

Not sure about the binky, maybe VTs kids.

Don't let grandpa see the gold nuggets otherwise he'll be over with a gold pan. As for the binky....hang on to it, you're going to need at least one.

I really want to know where the gold rocks came from. Any ideas?

Oh yea, I spray painted the rocks gold for a cub scout activity a few years ago. Not sure how they ended up in the bottom of the sofa. I don't think we had that couch when Bryson was binky age so it has to be a stray.
