Twin Falls Temple Open House

Dave, Bryson and I went to the Twin Falls Temple open house last Friday. Today, I went again with a friend who didn't want to go by herself. It is a beautiful temple with a huge mural of the local canyons, plants, waterfalls and animals. The Idaho State flower (Syringa) is featured in the windows, woodwork and other detail work. The whole open house was well organized, with a reception area afterwards, knowledgeable guides and youth who put the booties over our shoes.

Steve just taught me that the Syringa is a flower. I never knew that. It is the name of a street that runs into the street of my home in Spokane. I assumed it was an indian name like so many things in Washington.
